This is this week's effort for the weekly caption competition. I can't see this garnering many points this week for two reasons. First, it's hardly the most hilarious cartoon ever committed to paper: second, I made the dreadful discovery that I am unable to draw feet..
Note to self: Practice drawing feet.
At least you enetered...good feet or bad feet !!!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of when Charlie Brown challenged Linus about his insecurities because he hasn't drawn hands on his cartoon. To which Linus replies, "It's not because I'm insecure, it's because I can't draw hands!"
ReplyDeleteJohn, your absence of entries has been noted. Expect a visit from da boyz.
ReplyDeleteDave, mate, there is a wonderful cartoon by David Myers; a portrait painter has a sitter wearing boxing gloves. The painter says "I hope you don't mind, but I'm not very good with hands."
Interestingly, I have just noticed that very few art books (Steady!) spend much time on the drawing of feet. Ron Tiner gives two pages if "Figure Drawing Without A Model" and the new Joe Kubert book I got recently seems to ignore feet.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you should just learn to draw Wellingtons.
Or draw everything from the shins up.
I meant "in".
